Solar cell packaging film is based on EVA as the material, supplemented by several kinds of modifying agents, through the film forming equipment hot rolled into thin film products. The product is heated in the process of solar cell packaging, producing a crosslinking reaction, which is a thermosetting hot melt film. The cured film has quite high light transmittance, bonding strength, thermal stability, air tightness and aging resistance. The linear or mildly branched polymers are converted into a three-dimensional network through the action of crosslinagents. It can significantly improve the cohesion strength and thermal stability of the polymer. In order to master the relationship between the physical property and the crosslinking degree of EVA adhesives, and the relationship between the crosslinking degree and the dosage of the crosslinking agent, the crosslinking degree must be correctly determined. The determination of crosslinking degree is very important for the control of production process, the selection of raw materials and the control of product quality.
