Differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) is a thermal analysis method. Measure the power difference between the input to the sample and the reference (e. g., in the form of heat) at the program-controlled temperature. The curve recorded by the differential scanning calorimeter DSC curve, it with the sample heat absorption or heat release rate, namely heat flow rate dH / dt (unit millifocus / second) as the ordinate, with temperature T or time t as the abscissa, can determine a variety of thermodynamic and kinetic parameters, such as specific heat capacity, reaction heat, transition heat, phase diagram, reaction rate, crystallization rate, high polymer crystallinity, sample purity, etc. This method uses a wide temperature range (-175~725℃), high resolution, and less sample consumption. Suitable for inorganic substances, organic compounds and drug analysis. The application of thermal analysis method to determine drug purity has been reported abroad, which indicates the good prospect of this method.

2)Oxidation period test of PE, PPR and other pipes

The oxidation induction time (OIT) is detected by a CS300 (differential scanning calorimeter). Samimens are usually heated to a specified temperature and constant temperature under a nitrogen atmosphere, then switched to an oxygen atmosphere, and after a period of time the material begins to oxidize and heat is released. This release heat is detected by the sensor, and the software analysis obtains the induced oxidation time (OIT). The length of the oxidation induction time is a parameter of the oxidation decomposition resistance ability of the reaction material, and it is still very meaningful, usually the buried plastic pipes must detect this.
